Hiring Requirements : - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or international equivalent ; - Minimum of two years experience in training and development experience, preferably in a customer service environment ; - Human Resources Generalist experience preferred ; - Ability to participate in life-saving emergency drills and required training ; - Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly ; - Ability to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule for this onboard position ; - All international applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1/D1 visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : - Provide professional internal consulting that creates measurable performance solutions and long-term growth and development for all employees ; - Consults with management to provide internal consulting for performance solutions, growth and development needs analysis, orientation, training curriculums and needs, and methods to improve effectiveness ; - Responsible for the execution and delivery of the New Hire Welcome and orientation programs for all new shipboard employees, as well as trainings covering diversity, harassment, ethics, guest services, health and safety, leadership and management skills and promotional development ; - Monitors and reports employee progress during training periods, while maintaining training records for training schedules.
